INSTALLATION METHOD: Under-floor Joist Plate System

Under-floor joist plate system is an excellent way to add radiant floor heating to a structure that has valuable finished floors already in place, and where removing them is not an option. This method can also be used in new construction where other installation applications may not be the right fit.

Adequate underfloor joist space is required, and structural/mechanical interferences must be factored in to obtain maximum coverage beneath.

The under-floor joist plates are made of heavy gauge aluminum to increase the heat transfer from the tubing to the subfloor to the living space. These plates are designed to allow for an adequate tubing diameter to deliver the heat required for the space.

Under-floor joist bay insulation is required in order for these system to perform.
